DANCE102 is a boutique performing arts school dedicated to teaching dance and performing arts. The core idea for the design was to follow a dance movement, to enhance it and feel its flow. The void captured within the organic shape of the corridor’s walls is powered by its own movement. The livelihood and vibration happening in the studio rooms spills out to the common area with joy of dance.

The exterior of the existing building and its large structural columns are heritage listed. Creating a contrast between the column’s shape and the new interior articulating the significance of their form and function.
