What We Do

Concept Design

We will be here to listen to your story. The concept design stage will evolve based on your brief. We will conduct a comprehensive site study to explore the site features, discover opportunities and learn the site constraints. During this stage, we will work together to develop the foundations of your project.

Approvals

Building a new house, renovating, or adding to your property is always exciting. However, the process can sometimes be overwhelming. Design Your Space has extensive experience with local councils and private certifiers, so with our assistance, the process will be made more stress-free with patience and professionalism.

Construction Documentation

Design Your Space will prepare drawings and specifications as a part of our Construction Documentation Package. This package is required for a builder to tender and draw a contract. We liaise with consultants to incorporate information into our documentation.

Hilit Einav ( Design Your Space) was recommended to us in 2018, having decided to renovate the middle floor of a subdivided house, built in 1911. It is difficult to speak highly enough of Hilit, both in terms of maximising, through meticulous planning, the utility and enjoyment of the space concerned and the support/guidance provided in applying/obtaining a DA through to completion of the works - given her skill and experience, contacts in the industry and her innate qualities.

Hilit’s enthusiasm sparked and fostered our own ideas. Her lateral thinking and appetite for meeting design challenges led to outcomes that were both aesthetically pleasing and practical - to our delight. The building process was of course more complicated with covid, restrictions and lockdowns. Hilit was in contact regularly, always ready to discuss changes/concerns with us, the builder and trades or to visit the site, adhering to covid rules when necessary.

Very easy to work with, thoroughly considerate with a sense of humour that was an asset given the inevitable stress from time to time. Needless to say we are delighted to recommend Hilit and would not hesitate, even for a second, to ask her to help us with any future projects.
